Canon has unveiled a new EOS Rebel SL1 camera. Touted as the world's smallest DSLR, the new device happens to be the lightest (SL stands for “super lightweight") one as it weighs just 14.36 ounces.
Joining the bandwagon of Canon’s famous lineup of entry-level DSLR cameras, the EOS SL1 packs a standard kit EF-S 18-55mm IS STM optic EOS lens, 3 inch Clear View LCD monitor with two-finger touch gesture support and 18 megapixels APS-C CMOS sensor.
The new EOS Rebel SL1 comes equipped with DIGIC 5 image processor which allows up to four FPS. Designed with a built-in mono mic and stereo input jack, it can handle 1080p video at 34 or 30 FPS.
A noteworthy addition to the Canon's proud portfolio, the new EOS Rebel SL1 digital SLR camera will be available for sale in April. The device will cost $649.99 for the body and $799.99 with the new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM kit lens.
