Canon EOS 7D Mark II specs leaked

The rumoured Canon EOS 7D Mark II DSLR camera has surfaced again online with its leaked specs. Earlier, couple of websites reported that Canon is planning to launch 3 new advanced DSLR cameras. Canon EOS 7D Mark II will probably be one of these devices that Canon may unveil later this year.

As per the tech buzz online, there could be 3 prototype configurations of the camera and the first spec list for Canon EOS 7D Mark II digital SLR camera has appeared on the cyber highways. The upcoming device will come equipped with a 3.2 inch LCD screen display, 24.1 megapixels APS-C sensor and dual DIGIC V image processor.

Equipped with dual memory card slots, the Mark II camera will feature 10fps, 61 AF points and build quality like 5D3 model. Additionally, the device will come preloaded with GPS and Wi-Fi features for better connectivity.

As per the leaked specs, Canon EOS 7D Mark II will somewhat match ISO performance close to the 5D3 model. Canon Mixed Reality headset goes official

Canon has officially announced the launch of its MREAL headset, better known as Mixed Reality headset, with an augmented reality system. In case if you haven't heard about this device earlier, Canon's MREAL headset comes equipped with a head-mounted display which combines augmented reality system for the users to explore the virtual product designs in the real world.


The innovative gadget allows users to interact with computer-generated 3D versions of the new designer creations. Compared to Google Glass, the Mixed Reality headset generates video of your surroundings via the pair of cameras fixed in the front of wearer’s eye.

In fact, it doesn't projects augmented reality of your surroundings directly on the transparent displays, but it produces the video via a computer to bring a live video feed to dual displays attached with the visor strapped to the device.

It is designed to produce high quality, there-dimensional (3D) images with the help of two small monitors. Users can envision and virtually experience the prototype of a new design, be it a car or any other object, through this augmented reality device in full details.

Canon to roll out 3 new DSLR cameras?

Recently, the rumour mills are abuzz with the possible launch of three new Canon DSLR cameras this year. If the online reports are to be believed then Canon is planning to introduce advanced models of three new DSLR cameras in the year 2013.

The Japanese multinational, Canon is one of the most trusted brands when it comes to digital cameras, camcorders and DSLRs. As per Canon Rumors report, Canon is working on new camera models, which are expected to be released this year.

Although there is no official confirmation from the company, but tech sites are reporting that Canon may launch two entry level models and a mid-level DSLR model sometimes later this year.
