Canon has now added a new product to its PowerShot profile with the launch of Canon PowerShot A2500 digital camera. After Canon Elph 330 HS PowerShot camera and Canon PowerShot Elph 115 IS digital camera, the A2500 model is the third new device to grace Canon's upgraded PowerShot lineup.
Equipped with DIGIC 4 Image Processor, the latest Canon PowerShot A2500 digital camera boasts of an impressive 16-megapixel image sensor, a 28mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom and an innovative help button for beginners.
Similar to the PowerShot Elph 115 IS model, this device too incorporates Canon's Smart AUTO mode, which enables the device to intelligently select camera settings based on 32 predefined shooting modes. The new model also offers a slew of scenic modes for your images such as Fisheye Effect, Toy Camera Effect and Monochrome to pep up your creative side.
Additionally, the PowerShot A2500 digital camera offers HD video recording feature via a dedicated movie button. Preloaded with Canon's new ECO Mode battery, the device promises a longer duration of its battery life along with higher quantity of images.
Canon PowerShot A2500 digital camera will be available in silver, red and black colours and it is expected to arrive in April at a price of $129.99.
